In 2009, Parnas' childhood idol - footballer and captain of Palermo, Fabrizio Miccoli decided to pay homage to his idol, WWE star Rey Mysterio.
Miccoli wore Mysterio's famously attributed wrestling mask to celebrate his 100th professional goal in Italy.
Added to this iconic scene is a tree in the background, a tribute to Federico Fellini's film 'Amarcord' (meaning "I remember" in Italian) relating to his bittersweet memories of adolescence.
Exhibited in Ikonen, Culterim Backshop , Berlin
Curation: Confessionistas (Alice Michel & Martha dos Santos Domingos)
