Birthday Boy 2024
Graduate exhibition at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem
Curation: Avi Sabah
Exhibition photography: Lior Harel
The exhibition focuses on the relationship between banality and the uniqueness of everyday life; on the beauty and everyday humour that surround us, giving life flavour and colour.
As a result, I tend to work with the existing and available - relevant to the time and place.
I operate a lot from emotion and intuition, emphasizing colourfulness, materials, and the chemistry of how the works interact with each other and the exhibition space.
The motif of the clown refers to the artist's role as a performer whom the audience seeks to see both his struggles and his secrets.
In the exhibition, I criticise human relations with nature and culture through 'pop' figures of personified animals
The exhibition won the Sustainable Bezalel Award.
